We are Sofie and Hans, we have been a couple for 10 years and for 10 years we have been working inseparably together as a self-employed person in the hospitality industry in Belgium. In a previous life, Sofie worked for a long time in a real estate office on the Belgian coast, where she learned a lot about, among other things. sales of holiday homes, rentals, after-sales service and much more… When we got to know each other, we took a chance together in the catering industry, which started as a small sandwich shop, and after 10 years, the chip shop has now grown into one of the better chip shops in Bruges with 23 employees, including the sons and daughters-in-law, 7/7 open and already 8 cars to run… In order to avoid the busy life, we went on a discovery trip to the Costa Blanca, where we soon felt at home… When purchasing our first home, we had many questions, how does this work in Spain, who can we trust, what about the mortgage, how does the transfer take place at the notary… |
We soon had different and better contacts with a number of people who guided us well in a smooth handling of the purchase of our home. It is therefore with these people (lawyer, gestor, construction company…) that we are now going further to start our own office. Partly due to our own perseverance and curiosity, we quickly felt at home in this matter and it was not long before we invested in a second apartment to rent out… We feel more and more at home in Spain and we are making better and different contacts in the real estate world and we can now proudly say that we are ready for a new step in our lives… The children are ready to take over the business in Belgium, so that we can fulfill our Spanish dream with confidence, namely selling real estate. |
